Father's Day was a hit!

Sunday morning I got up with the kids. Bob got to stay in bed with his coffee, newspaper and tv. The kids and I got his breakfast ready and took it to him with all his cards. It was really nice.

Okay. So Katelynn and I had so much fun on her school trip, we decided to go to the mountain on Father's day. It was a lovely day. I packed a lunch for all of us. Bob got the elk call and binoculars together and we were off. We went to the Learning center saw lots of elk. The kiddos got a toy from the gift shop and got a raspberry tart. Yummy. We then traveled all the way up to the Johnson Creek Viewing Center. We didn't get out but, there was sooo much snow still on the ground! The ride back was so nice. It makes me so happy to know that I live so close to this magnificent mountain! We saw the "A" frame house that was buried from all the ash. Boy! What timing! Only 3 days till the house was finished and it's new family was to move in. That's not the way nature intended. Nothing is for certain, only your faith. That is what I was feeling when we were standing there looking at the home. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. I hope all you dad's out there had a great day as well. I love you both. Kisses and Hugs!!!!
