Just my luck

So I had our old washer and dryer listed on Craigslist. A gal came to look at them last Thursday. She had 3 children with her and she was driving her work truck. She wanted to back up the truck on to the driveway, so I pulled the Durango out of her way. When she was backing up on the wide part of our driveway, she kept stalling the truck. I thought she was going to hit our trailer! She was digging herself a hole in the gravel. So she just parked it where it was. We loaded up the washer and dryer. Just as we did that, the truck started to move. It didn't stop. I told the woman to get in the truck, she just stood there paralyzed. I ran after it. The truck went down the hill, crossed the road, over the curb on the other side of the road. It grazed my neighbor's tree on the right side of the truck and whammed into a stump. I am thinking the truck was going about 25 to 30 miles an hour before it hit. All the kids where fine (thank God) I was shaking so bad and Ashley saw the whole thing happen from our front window. She was pretty shaken up too. I am so thankful that no one was out playing on the street, and our neighbor's family was camping for the week. It was such an awful feeling knowing that I couldn't do anything but watch it happen. I was so scared for the children and was so happy when I found them all alive with her outside of the truck. They were shaken up of course but doing okay. Here is a picture from my front door, on the left side you can see where the truck was parked and on the right side where the truck ended up.
