Dirt, dirt and more DIRT!

So instead of going camping this weekend, we thought we would do a little landscaping. Okay, well maybe A LOT of landscaping. We were able to afford Spencer's Trucking to come out and move some dirt around and place some ecology blocks for us. Today was the first day they were out. Bob took today and tomorrow off so he would have four days to work on this. Well since this morning was so rainy (we didn't think it was going to stop!), they weren't able to start on our project until 11am. He worked about four hours today and got almost half way done with the moving of the dirt. He made a road to go up to the back of our property and took some trees down. He pulled the tree out from the front and scraped off the sod in the front where he will be adding a rock wall with blocks and then dirt to fill in. I can't wait until tomorrow. The kids can't wait either! The weather is supposed to cooperate tomorrow and Saturday as well. Below are some pictures of how the day started and ended up. Enjoy the transformation!! We are!
