They're outta here....
I am so glad that they are finally gone. We didn't get all that we had planned from the beginning done. This definately was a learning experience. We would do some things differently. But over all I am glad and soooo thankful that we were able to put the wall in and get the road up to the top and leveled out for a shed in the future. When you have so many plans and can't do any of them cause of the construction that had to happen first, you get impatient and then you get lazy. Now that this part is done, we will focus on finishing and beautifing the yard. The front wall still needs to be done. We figured out the original blocks that were more fancy than the ones in the back were just too expensive. The owner of Spencer's trucking and excavating said it nicely, "They must be really proud of their blocks." I couldn't have said it better. They would have looked sharp, but the ones you see all over town will look just as nice. We will be seeding the ground with grass this next week. We don't want to have to deal with the muddy paw prints all over the house! I will post a good picture of the back and the front when it's sunny today. I was busy cleaning sidewalks, patios and muddy shoes yesterday. :) This weekend I will be focusing on my mom! Can't wait to see her!
