Our four days at Walupt Lake with our friends was a blast!
Bob and I had a great time with the kids at a beautiful lake north of Kelso. It was the first time we camped there. We went with friends of ours and they want to camp with us next year for a week next time! We would love too! Bob caught the biggest trout at 13inches, they caught and released all. Katelynn caught a fish too! It was the first time out on a boat for the kids. Max and Katelynn did awsome and little Ashley had some motion sickness. She came in early. We ate good camp food, had crafts for the kids and experienced all types of weather! It downpoured one of the four days and Bob came to the rescue and put up lots of tarps over the campfire so we
could dry out. The kids rode their bikes and played in the lake all day on Saturday. There were tons of chipmunks around and Chris, Jennifer's husband caught crawdads! They were good! Only Katelynn thought so out of our kids. Max was very disappointed when it was time to get into the truck to go home. He wanted to stay longer! I know we all had a great time. Can't wait for next year. Our next camping trip is to Blue Lake to do some Off Roading with the four wheelers!!
