Country living

Okay, I was moving the potted plants from the fenced part of the backyard and I came across a pregnant spider! Oh my gosh, it scared me so bad. My neighbor has been over this week helping us with burning a great big tree stump, so I asked him to come and look at it. I didn't know what to do with it. Of course kill it, but it was so big I didn't even consider it. Steve just took it in his gloves then put in on the ground and stomped on it. It crunched so loud!!! Ohhhh it was terrible! I was jumping up and down and I am sure he and Max thought I was crazy. I know I am and know they know this too.

A deer, actually several deer have been in our backyard lately. Bob keeps telling me he wants to get a salt lick. (Deer like that) That would be neat, maybe they would stick around long enough were I could get a picture or two!

Max and the mud. He had help getting unstuck.

Yuck! I hate spiders almost as much as cockroaches! Actually, maybe more...spiders can hurt you. Cockroaches just creep me out. I was at the mail box the other night (they come out at night) and I was standing there and I felt something on my foot. A cockroach!!! I too jumped and screamed. I hope no one saw me.

Max's boots look like he must have had a great time. It is so cool to be there in the country where he can be a real boy. You know, like mud, dogs, trucks, four wheelers and that kind of stuff. I am really happy for you guys to have been so fortunate to find such a super place.

Debbie was telling me they have a deer hang around their yard. They also got a salt lick for it. I dont think they have seen the deer use it yet.

Love you,
Mom
