A little Halloween fun

The Friday before Halloween we went to our friends' church harvest party in Vancouver. Then we visited our church's harvest party on Halloween night! We were all partied out by the end of the second night! We all had fun, had great food and ate lots of CANDY!!!

Here is Katelynn in the "Cool Room". It was a room filled with neon light and white paper on walls and on tables with highlighter pens to draw on! They had really cool hip christian music playing really loud!!

Here are all the kiddos on Halloween before entering our "Light the Night" at Liberty Bible. Ashley is Tinkerbell, Katelynn is a Kitty Princess and Max is a Hunter.

Eating their cupcakes after the Cake Walk. They didn't know what to do at this one. It was really funny. They had us just dance on the floor for awhile and then find a number. The kids didn't think that was cool. :) They got the hang of it after awhile.

This morning before I got logged onto the computer I made some delicious Warm Nutty Caramel Brownies. I uses Milky Ways and Snickers for the Rolos it called for. It tastes out of this world!! It's a Pampered Chef recipe. I will be wrapping up half of these and sending them with Bob to work! This is my way of getting rid of lots of candy!

Kids, you all look awesome in your costumes! I am glad you had so much fun. We didn't have parties like that when your Mom was young. Yes, she WAS young once upon a time. We did not have nearly as many T or T 'ers as we expected. So my way of getting rid of excess candy was to mail it to Amy and her room mates! It was a huge boxful. Love u all, Grandma Nette
