Another day

So I am writing to you as I sit next to my bed. Katelynn is on my computer and I am on the laptop. The dogs are fighting on my bed and I have to keep kicking them off. Ashley wants to play Webkinz on this computer and Katelynn keeps saying, "Look mom! There is something new on Webkinz!!" So many things going on at the same time.

Bob had the kids to himself this last weekend as I escaped to the beach for a MOPS leadership retreat. We stayed the night in Seaside. Wow, it was wonderful to have a night of just gals. I thought I was in heaven. After some shopping at the beginning, we went back to our room and just layed there. We didn't have all that much to say. But we all agreed that the silence and the quick rest was enjoyed. I certainly did miss my family and called them on Sunday morning. Bob said that him and the kids went to their pappap's house. Sunday they went fishing with their Uncle Jesse. A great big sturgeon bit Ashley's little princess pole and almost took it with him into the river! It's a good thing that Uncle Jesse caught it in time! Daddy let Ashley hold the pole to see what it felt like to have a monster fish at the end! It almost took her into the river too! She was soooo happy to tell me this story when I got home late Sunday afternoon. Too bad the fish spit the hook, that would have been so neat! I was so happy for her. I love it when my kids have such a great time with their daddy. Bob bought Salmon and steak for dinner that night, he's so great. I forgot to bring my camera to the beach, I'm not sure how I managed that one! But one of the gals had hers and we got a group pic on the prom. I will post as soon as I get it from her! Chow!
